Awesome morning view of Lake with sorrounding mountains chain around the lake nd green forest around the lake. The park covered an area of 33000 hectors nd includes 16 Lakes in succession connected by waterfalls Plitvice is oldest National Park in Southeast Europa. Allinterno the park there are also many caves of which only a small part of agibile Lakes are formed by two Rivers. The white Rivers nd Black Rivers which flow in the river Korana.
The water of these Rivers are rich in Calcareous salts ( mostly calcium carbonate nd Mangnesium carbonate ) from the dissolution of corbonate rocks forming the geographical structure of Sito questi salts are precipitated by vegetation forming layers of travertine a sedimentary rock recently over These deposites forming real natural Dams That act as barriers to water growing by about a centimetre per year.
At one point the water pressure breaks these Natural levees opening new paths in the ground.
